Tiverton Signpost Club
Tiverton Signpost club was first established in 1940 and has been running for over 75 years and still continues to go from strength to strength. The club started as a girls only club and still maintains a high standard girls chorus. The club has over 30 girls aged 13 and above who meet once a week to learn to dance and put together in preparation for our annual pantomime.
Our pantomime is produced every year and consists of our chorus girls who also take character parts and boys that are invited to take part too. We produce 12 performances which include everything you would expect from a traditional pantomime - fabulous costumes, great story lines, well loved characters, intricate dances and lots of fun and laughter! We also have a talented back stage crew and technicians.
The club is also well known locally and shows are very well supported. We also boast an amazing wardrobe of over 20,000 costumes, from kids costumes, to adults. All costumes and accessories are available to hire.
The club room is situated in the pannier market in Tiverton and consists of a dance studio, wardrobe and workshop. We are a very active club with classes going on all year round and each part of the club, Panto, kids and Follies all work together to produce and support each others shows. All of the volunteers, giving their free time, teaching and support their members.
